Decorating for Christmas!

Hi Everyone!

Yesterday we had fun decorating for Christmas. We had very helpful elves this year. Joy carried around that little ornament (in the pictures) for the longest time, it was so sweet (she's also carrying one around now as I write this, I don't think our Christmas tree will look perfect this year, but that will be fun too). BethAnne and Grace were good decorating helpers too, it's fun that they're old enough now to really help. We're excited to be ready for the season already, it feels like a particularly joyous holiday because we're so close to family again this year. We love it here!

These last couple weeks have been rough here because BethAnne had an especially difficult recovery from her tonsillectomy. It was one of the most routine of any surgery she's ever had, but definitely one of the most painful recoveries. She didn't stop crying and moaning in the night until 12 days after her surgery. It was very stressful for all of us to see her so uncomfortable and we were really concerned because she wasn't eating hardly at all for 10 days and she didn't drink enough during that time either. We hope that her kidneys didn't suffer too much from her prolonged dehydration. We're very relieved now that she's finally getting better. BethAnne is breathing much better now and no longer snoring. She should be much healthier from now on.

I hope you are all well. It will be so great to have all the family here for New Years. Have a wonderful Holiday Season!
Love,
Aubrey

Moab

We went on a hike up Smithfield Canyon to see if Adam could handle hiking to the arch in Moab. We had a little picnic on the way - and cookies and milk at the top. The weather was perfect. Adam complained almost the entire way back so I was a little nervous for Moab, but Brian says he did fine...

And here's Moab. The boys loved spending time with their Grandpa, Carl and cousins. I'm not sure how dad managed to get out of the pictures, but I sure wish I had one to post! Love you all...

Llewellyn October

Halloween - it rained cats and dogs for an hour (the hour Brian took them out), and then was nice for the next hour (yep, my shift). So all and all, a pretty good Halloween (for me anyway - thanks hon!)

We've had 2 great wrestling meets so far. The kids are getting the hang of it. I love the organized choas of 100 little boys and their crazy parents.

I'm hoping this video comes through, but if it doesn't, it's Cam's first pin of his first match. Very cute.

These are two of my great neighbors - Angie and Kellie. We went on a weekend shopping trip to Salt Lake together and had a wonderful time. This is an adult Halloween party we went to - Brian and I dressed in our full scuba gear (way more uncomfortable than I thought it would be!).

Blue Eyes

Joy looked so cute today after her bath. Her eyes are so blue, especially today. Hope you are all well.

Halloween and Soccer

We ended up with a fairy tale theme for Halloween this year. So much fun!

The dragon is escaping!
Aiden's last soccer game was last week, and Eva's is tomorrow. It's been a lot of fun, but we're pretty excited to get our Saturdays back.

Fall!

Grandma invited us over today to help rake up leaves and play in them. The girls had so much fun, it was so nice of Grandma to let us "help". Joy has had a hard few days teething, so it was really nice for her to have the distraction of something so new. The weather has been so beautiful here. It's supposed to get to almost 70 degrees every day this week. I hope you are all doing well too!

Love,
Aubrey
