Hi,
I guess these pictures didn't show up right last time, so I'm trying again. Enjoy!

Princess

Here's a few more pictures of our beautiful fairy princess. She's so sweet, she especially loves Grandma's house. She got tubes in her ears on Tuesday because she's had so many ear infections the last few months. We're hoping she'll be healthier and happier now. We love our little Joy!

Halloween Friday!

We had a fun Halloween early this year. Right after school, we went to Mark's office where they had a party and trick-or-treating for families. It was great to see where Mark works, it's a really beautiful building. Then we went trick-or-treating at Grandma and Grandpa's house and then at Chrissy and Jon's house. Then we went to our ward's trunk-or-treat which was very crowded but lots of fun. We ended the night by dropping by Nana and Papa's house to show off the kids' costumes. It was a busy day, but lots of fun. Have a great weekend, I can't wait to see all your pictures!

Love,
Aubrey

Busy Xander

Xander is a busy little guy. He loves to climb into and onto anything he can find. He got into the suitcase and the box all by himself. He is always looking for a new adventure. He's also a little jabberbox. He loves to sing to the children's songs we always have playing in the car; his favorites are "The Ants Go Marching" (he loves to chime in with "ah-wah!" during the "hurrahs") and anything with clapping ("B-I-N-G-O" and "If You're Happy and You Know It"). Lester and Dani have a dog, which Xander just loved. Now he barks ("wuff! wuff! wuff!") whenever he sees a dog (or a chipmunk or a horse or the neighbor's lawn ornament :) ).

Xander also loves trying to get dressed by himself. Here he is trying to put on Aiden's pajamas. He also tries to put Eva's pants over his head and Aiden's shoes on his feet. Whenever he gets a hold of a brush he'll start brushing his hair. He is my cutie pie!

Fun October

We're having a fun month!
The weather is finally getting cooler and the leaves are starting to fall. The kids had me out raking leaves with them this afternoon to see if we could get a pile big enough to jump in. We got a little pile that Xander had a lot of fun sitting in.
Eva just lost another tooth. Before putting it under her pillow last night, she made a thank-you card for the tooth fairy - completely her idea; it was so sweet. She has been busy playing soccer, making Halloween decorations for the house, and making up plays to go with her princess Halloween costume. She has also mastered the monkey bars at school. She practiced and practiced for weeks, and she can finally make it all the way across!
At the beginning of October I went to the pumpkin patch with Aiden for a preschool field trip. There were slides and tunnels and swings and things to climb on - and pumpkins! Aiden's favorite was the big slides where you sit on a carpet square to make you go faster.
He is getting so big! He started soccer this fall and is having fun with that. He is learning to write his name at preschool and is having a great time learning and playing and making new friends.

For Columbus Day weekend we went to visit Lester and Dani and their sweet family. While we were visiting, we all went to Colonial Williamsburg, which is a restored little town from the revolutionary war times. There are actors all around dressed in period costume who tell you about the various shops and demonstrate trades (i.e. blacksmiths and dressmakers). They even had games for the children.

We were lucky that while we were at Colonial Williamsburg, there were also a bunch of revolutionary war re-enactors who were there for the weekend and we got to see and visit with them. They stayed in tents (you can see them in the background) and cooked and did everything like the people did back then
I have more pictures of Xander that I'll put in another post!

Grandma's Delight!

Hi Guys! I'm having so much fun with the new swing set - I love to be there with my sweet grandkids. This day was especially fun - I rocked Joy to sleep! Love you all - and pray you will have a wonderful holiday season (Halloween is a holiday you know! - and so is Moab!) XOXXO
